Installation

All installation and commissioning work is guaranteed and carried out, to a very high professional standard, by our fully qualified and experienced engineers, whether it be a single item of catering equipment, or an entire kitchen. This service includes plumbing, electrical and gas connections. We install all types of kitchen equipment in accordance with commercial premises legislation.

Mobile Catering Vehicles

Kaitakare is now registered to repair & service appliances on mobile catering vehicles due to their Gas Safe certification.

It is a legal requirement that all mobile catering units have an LPG test certificate provided by a gas safe engineer. Without this it is not permitted to trade from your vehicle/trailer.

This ensures that all appliances are safe on your trailer as they have conformed with current Heath and Safety requirements. Your local authority, and any event you attend, will need to see this.

Gas Interlock Systems

In September 2001 the British standard BS6173 was amended to provide users of gas fired catering equipment with protection against the effects of exposure to combustion products (gases, such as Carbon Monoxide), which result from the cooking process when using of any type of gas source. Maintenance

We provide comprehensive kitchen service contracts. At Kaitakare Ltd. we believe a service contract is a vital form of preventative maintenance. Indeed, gas regulations state that an inspection shall be carried out annually. Not only does routine servicing ensure the safety of your kitchen, a well maintained kitchen increases the life span of equipment and results in fewer breakdowns on your units; evidently we can pre warn you of imminent failure.
